The Kereliott cottage is an original fisherman’s house dating back to 1830 that has been completely updated for modern living. The concept for the self-catering property is based on it being minimal and small. Furnishings are high-end but functional and the house requires very little energy to heat and maintain – the walls are nearly a metre thick.
Our housekeeper and tradespeople live nearby. Our laundry is done locally, supporting local industry.
Electricity and water are monitored to reduce our energy consumption wherever possible. Our electricity is supplied by EDF’s Vert Électrique, which comes from 100% renewable energy sources. All our cleaning products are environmentally friendly and we encourage our guests to recycle.
Although not always possible, we aim to keep our bookings to a minimum of three nights in order to ensure guests have more time to enjoy the area at a slower pace. There is space in the shed for cyclists to store their bikes.
